If you need to join a spatial element with a table (like an excel table), you can either use the “Join Data” tool, or right click on the shapefile, got to Joins and Relates, click Join and fill in the appropriate data.
For Lab 5 you need to join the lake data with the fish sampling data. Use the BIF_ID and the WaterbodyID to join the two tables together.
